Abstract : This paper is dedicated to the detection of buried pipes
with a ground penetrating radar (GPR). The images
from GPR acquisitions also called B-scan are corrupted
by clutter and noise. In order to remove these undesirable
items we propose to use the properties of the curvelet
transform. Were using this method as a first step of the
automatic detection of hyperbola in a B-scan.
