Joint antenna-channel aspects in MIMO terminals performance evaluation

We address the modeling of the performance of wireless MIMO terminals while taking into account the intrinsic or extrinsic variability of their properties. The objective is to simplify the modeling method as much as possible, through approximations in the incorporation of antenna pattern gains and in the involvement of joint antenna-channel signal correlations. The methods are tested using synthetic antenna patterns and a simple propagation channel model.
